Under his leadership, the company has developed a unique mix of capabilities spanning mobile, games, and enterprise software. Scott has served on several public and private boards, and actively donates time to startups and Ottawa’s tech community.
Paul Winterhalder
Vice President, COO and Co-founder
Paul is a creative and technical force behind bitHeads’ cloud-based platforms for multi-screen game and mobile apps. He has been a key architect of bitHeads’ ProductStream agile development methodology and has successfully managed teams of over 100 people on large-scale development projects. He has provided strategic guidance to companies such as EA, 3Com, Cryptologic, Nortel Networks, Canada Post, GE and IBM.
Rick McMullin
Vice President, CTO and Co-founder
Rick has deep domain expertise in the architecture and development of large-scale server, middleware, and cloud platforms for game, mobile and enterprise applications. Prior to co-founding bitHeads, Rick worked as software architect for Bell-Northern Research’s Generic Services Framework project, the largest object-oriented project in the world. He has architected and delivered apps and backend platforms for many of our Fortune 1000 clients.
Frank Toltesi
Vice President of Research and Development
Frank has over 25 years of experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams in the creation of mobile apps and large-scale enterprise software platforms with a wide variety of technologies. He has extensive experience within retail, telecommunications, mobile, healthcare and e-commerce fields and Frank is a recognized thought leader in agile development methodologies.

Ted has over 25 years of senior management experience in the mobile and enterprise software industries. He leads a strong team at bitHeads that work closely with our clients and strategic partners to ensure maximum business impact is delivered by each app development project. Prior to joining bitHeads, Ted was Vice President of Technology at Watchfire.
