bitHeads, inc. is a global custom software development company based in Ottawa.  We are seeking a Junior Business Development Representative in our Sales Department for commencement as soon as possible. This position will be located in our Ottawa office and will report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

This position will best suit an individual who is tech savvy with a background and or education in sales and service, who is detail-oriented  and enthusiastic about their work. The Junior Business Development Representative will work to grow bitHeads new client base.  The main function of the job is to add new logo’s to bitHeads, through LinkedIn, cold calling, reaching out to old clients, networking, attending networking events, using own network and lead management through media and our inside sales team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build pipeline and opportunities through daily outbound sales activity combination of cold calling, emails and LinkedIn.
  • Execute lead generation programs to increase attendance at upcoming events, seminars, and create awareness for current product promotions.
  • Profiling, prospecting and booking sales presentations.
  • Deliver bitHeads value proposition.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales call quota.
  • Receive and answer prospective customers’ sales inquiries.
  • Qualify leads by explaining types of service and products offered and identify decision makers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, and activity and pipeline reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in Business or Technical related program.
  • Excellent English communication skills, Bilingualism an asset.
  • Some previous experience in a “Technical Sales” or a high call volume sales environment would be an asset.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, positive individual with a high energy level and strength in driving new sales.
  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite and CRM Software such as Hubspot.
  • Assertive and eager, happy in a “hunter” sales role.

Technical Marketing Co-ordinator – Ref: TMC-01-17

bitHeads, inc. is a global custom software development company based in Ottawa.  We are seeking a Technical Marketing Co-ordinator to join our Sales Team as soon as possible. This position will be located in our Ottawa office and will report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Reporting to the Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, the Technical Marketing Coordinator position requires a broad range of skills and experience in support of key marketing objectives and goals. This position involves developing and implementing marketing, lead generation and advertising campaigns; transferring leads to the sales team; maintaining an inventory of collateral and updating it as required; maintaining databases; preparing reports and the creation of new marketing content.

 

Approximately 80% of the responsibilities of this position will be dedicated to marketing activities that directly or indirectly generate leads for the sales organization and the remaining 20% to the general administrative support of the sales & marketing department.

Responsibilities will include the following, in addition to new priorities as identified by the Vice-President, Sales & Marketing as they emerge:

  • Build, deploy, and report on email campaigns
  • Conduct research for market segment analysis so that sales collateral, presentations, webinars and social media content addresses the segment’s pain points vis-à-vis the procurement of custom software development services
  • Conduct SEO optimization for www.bitheads.com and campaign landing pages
  • Coordinate and produce marketing assets and sales collateral
  • Maintain and update website content
  • Monitor and publish to social media channels; report and recommend content creation
  • Gather analytics and report on social media activity and recommend ways to bolster social media strategy
  • Deploy press releases under the guidance of Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, work closely with internal sales to ensure that the marketing team and sales team are coordinating efforts in an efficient and collaborative manner.
  • Conduct weekly, bi-weekly and monthly stats reports and analysis to inform management of trends and patterns as needed.
  • Create marketing campaigns to help drive sales leads
  • Ensure Blog and other web content is created in a timely fashion
  • Creates handouts and white papers on successful projects and items of interest to be used on website and handouts
  • Work with sales to help them achieve goals
  • Work with sales to make trade shows a success and ensure participation
