Award-winning point of sale infrastructure integrates 9,500 stores
When Canada Post, Canada’s national postal service, decided it needed to overhaul its complete retail point-of-sale system, they turned to us to supply the design and development expertise. The application integrates a variety of point-of-sale peripheral devices and securely processes millions of transactions. It has been successfully deployed in over 9,500 corporate and franchise outlets in Canada and has gone on to be adopted as the standard postal solution by several other countries.
This complex system, designed and developed using the latest technologies from Microsoft, consists of over 500,000 lines of C# code. Acclaimed for its user interface and secure, scalable backend, the product received a Retail Technology Innovation Award and was a finalist for the Microsoft Ignite IT Award.
