FlightAware is the most popular online airline tracking service, serving over 2 million tracking requests per day that cover air traffic in 40 countries. When they needed to extend their service to the PlayBook, they looked to us as the natural choice because of our experience with that platform and mapping applications.
This resulting PlayBook app allows you to track the real-time flight status and tracking map of any private, charter, or commercial airline flight. It shows nearby flights in the surrounding sky and provides flight alert email notifications, airport delays, and complete flight details with full-screen maps with a radar overlay.
