A complex forensic ballistics application straight out of CSI
The Advanced Ballistics Analysis System (ALIAS) is a breakthrough forensic firearms identification system developed by Pyramidal Technologies. It uses ultra high resolution 3D imaging and advanced computational mathematics to provide forensic scientists with the correlation and visualization data they need to quickly match shell casings from crime scenes to individual firearms.
Pyramidal was impressed with our expertise in the areas of Mac OS development, 3D modelling, and complex data analysis. We were engaged to design and develop the entire software application for ALIAS, including the unique visualization system user interface and the complex computational correlation algorithms.
